The interplay between architectural design and thermal dynamics is at the heart of building sustainability and occupant comfort. Modern buildings, often dotted with various heat sources, present unique challenges in maintaining a harmonious thermal environment. As these structures become more intricate, the necessity for advanced analytical methods, such as Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) steady thermal analysis, becomes paramount. This study focuses on a building structure, embedded with distinct heat sources and a corresponding fan cooling system.


Our primary aim, through CFD analysis, is to map the temperature distribution across the building, understanding how heat propagates and interacts with the cooling mechanisms in place. Predicting this temperature spread is crucial; it not only impacts occupant comfort but also has implications for energy efficiency and system longevity.


However, this endeavor doesn’t conclude with mere prediction. An integral part of this analysis is the pursuit of optimization. By understanding the existing thermal behaviors, we seek to refine and enhance the cooling system, targeting a primary objective: controlling the maximum temperature within the structure. In essence, this study marries the power of advanced simulation with the practical needs of building thermal management, aiming to craft solutions that are both efficient and effective.
